• The local employment in the hotel business accounted for 60.94%
• The business generated an income to 40 families of the Long-tail boat community, accounted for more than 4.17 million baht a year, by providing long-tail boat services for guests of the SAii Phi Phi Island Village Hotel.
• The hotel business helps promote local economies by purchasing local products and using them to operate services for its customers. The contribution accounts for over 65 million baht.
• The business helped generate income in the local area (Sun Plaza flea market is a popular ancient market among the locals and office workers.

COMMUNITY ECONOMIC ENCOURAGEMENT
The company takes part in supporting the social enterprises by using local products in the business operations. For example, the headquarters has chosen Thai tea products from Singha Park Chiang Rai. Meanwhile, the hotel business used 32,000 rolls (8,000 kilograms) of Nipa Palm roofs from local communities in Nakhon Si Thammarat in the renovation of guest rooms and buildings of SAii Phi Phi Island Village.

In terms of the potential development of local employees, there is cooperation between the company and the Maldives National University through the CROSSROADS Project, Maldives. In 2023, the company accepted 6 Maldivian interns from the Faculty of Hospitality & Tourism Study, with an employment opportunity. According to all projects, besides the elevating of society’s quality of life, the value of economic returns of the company has been improved.
