The company announced its intention and commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 40% in alignment with the Paris Agreement (COP21) and achieve carbon neutrality by 2030 and net-zero emissions by 2050. To achieve these goals, the company plans to increase the use of renewable and eco-friendly energy sources across its business groups. This is to reduce energy consumption and improve energy management efficiency which can help mitigate greenhouse gas emissions, the major cause of climate change.

• In 2022, the hotel operation has installed solar panels in 4 properties (Thailand and Maldives), with a total capacity of 2.572 MW
• Residential property business has installed solar panels with a total capacity of 558.6 MW (houses and common areas)

The Industrial Estate & Infrastructure Business plays a crucial role in supporting the company's other businesses by promoting eco-friendly renewable energy innovations.

The hotel business aims to install solar panels in suitable areas at all hotel properties under the management of SHR Group to reduce the use of fossil fuel which has a high carbon footprint.

The residential property business, innovations for sustainable practices have been applied, starting with the installation of solar panels for clean energy to reduce energy consumption. EV chargers have also been installed to support electric vehicles to reduce pollution.
