Circular economy in the construction industry


- Reduce construction waste from residential projects.
- Join the Circular Economy in Construction Industry (CECI) network of Thai business organizations.
- Target to reduce air pollution from construction projects, specifically PM10, by 10% or to 0.10 milligrams per cubic meter by 2030.
Conservation project for endangered marine animals within the hotel premises.
- Conservation of 23 species listed on the IUCN Red List in the CROSSROADS project.
- Coral reef conservation and restoration projects in the CROSSROADS project and at Saii Phi Phi Island Village Hotel.
- Marine animal conservation projects in the mangrove forest.
Net Zero Pathway
- Installation of solar panels with a total capacity of 2.688 megawatts in the hotel business group.
- Install a 400 MW cogeneration power plant at Ang Thong Industrial Estate.

The conservation of terrestrial biodiversity significantly impacts marine biodiversity. The company has therefore initiated various projects in business areas, both coastal areas and islands with high marine biodiversity. Information and knowledge have been applied in project development consistently and become a corporate value delivered to customers and stakeholders throughout business operations.
Net Zero Pathway
The company announced its commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 40% in line with the Paris Agreement/ COP21. It aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030 and net-zero emissions by 2050. To achieve this, the company will focus on increasing the proper use of renewable and eco-friendly energy in all business sectors to reduce energy usage, efficiently manage energy resources, and mitigate greenhouse gas emissions which are the major cause of climate change.
WASTE MANAGEMENT
The company aims to minimize the impact of waste in construction and operations across all businesses. They follow the "Zero-waste to Landfill Zero-waste to Ocean" approach and employ the 4Rs: Rethink, Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. This includes a focus on reducing single-use waste, planning efficient material usage for maximum lifecycle benefits, and collaborating with external organizations and contractors to ensure proper waste management. In the hotel business, the emphasis is on reducing food waste and achieving zero-plastic hotels.
